Admitted to hospital

So at 34+4 I noticed again that movements were very quiet. This time from both babies, I wasn’t feeling much of anything. I had felt the odd subtle movement here and there, but that was it. Definitely nothing like their usual movements. As soon as Will got home from work we went straight in, withContinue reading “Admitted to hospital”

34 week scan update

Our 34 week scan showed both babies weights are on the low side. Baby boys estimated weight was 3lb 6 and baby girls was 3lb 8. So they were both starting to slow down in regards to weight gain. They had also noticed that baby girls abdominal circumferance had dropped off a little. When IContinue reading “34 week scan update”

20 week scan + movements!

I was so nervous for this scan! I’ve always seen the 20 week scan as the scariest one. Just because if there is something wrong, now is likely to be when they find it, and obviously with it being an IVF pregnancy we’re at higher risk for there to be anomolies found. The scan tookContinue reading “20 week scan + movements!”

12 WEEK SCAN

My god, we’re finally having our 12 week scan at 12+2 – August 26th. Our scan was at 08.10am at our local hospital. It was a really long scan too! They had to measure the skin fold at the back of their necks to check the risk of them having downs syndrome. Well the scanContinue reading “12 WEEK SCAN”

Another private scan…

We had another scan at 10+5 on August 15th for no other reason than I needed reassurance, again! This time my mum came with me cause Will thought it would be nice for her to see them seeing as she was just as excited as us! The scan was fine and they were measuring aheadContinue reading “Another private scan…”

9 week scan…

Look how big they are at 9+5!!! I was so relieved, Will was confident everything was fine but I was just scared that they would scan me and find nothing because of my lack of symptoms. But there they are! Both growing exactly how they should be with heart rates of 170 and 171! WeContinue reading “9 week scan…”

What happened between 7 and 9 weeks

Well obviously I worried the whole time and had times where I convinced myself the twins weren’t alive anymore. The 7th week seems to be the only time I really experienced proper ‘pregnancy’ symptoms. I felt really sick this week, with the urge to throw up, I didn’t, but thought I might a few times!Continue reading “What happened between 7 and 9 weeks”

7 week scan!

LOOK!!! I’m officially really pregnant! I couldn’t believe it was really true, and with not 1 but 2! We were soooo happy, we could see their little heatbeats, it was such an incredible feeling I can’t even describe it! Twin B is obviously a little shy but we could still see the heartbeats. The clinicContinue reading “7 week scan!”
